OFFER: FIELD MANAGER
- SEASONAL/PERMANENT POSITION -
Soleil’s Farm, a Certified Organic mixed vegetable market farm, is hiring a field manager to join our team for the 2024 season.
This is a permanent, full-time, seasonal position ideal for someone who is committed to farming and interested in being part of the core farming team.
The position offers the opportunity to farm with limited investment and risk by providing a fully serviced farm (packing barn, storage facility, tractor, high tunnels, irrigation system) and the flexibility to explore your own markets and crops alongside peers and mentors.

Soleil's Farm is committed to collaboration and strengthening our local food system, and helped start PEI's local food hub Grower's Station. We know the challenge of accessing land and infrastructure as a new farmer, and we are open to sharing land and facilities in ways that make sense. We encourage team members to dream about the projects they'd like to start here!

Soleil's Farm team is small (7-10 full- and part-time crew members), and we require a strong team commitment and dedication to clear, kind communication from all team members.
The work will be demanding both physically and mentally, and we expect our team members to have an understanding of their personal limitations.

Most tasks require quality work done at a quick pace, often under pressure. Ideal team members have quick hands and a commitment to improving task efficiency. We often describe farming as endless problem solving - the ability to roll with rapidly shifting priorities, and a positive & collaborative attitude are essential qualities on our team.
